Who Can Vote?
The deadline to register to vote in this election is February 9, 2026
Only voters living in the West Manatee Fire District can vote in this election. If you’re not sure what district you’re in, you can:
- Look at a map of the districts
- Look up your voter information and select “Office Holders” to see who currently represents you
- Check the districts listed on your Voter Information Card

Two Ways to Vote
Vote by Mail
Voted ballots must be in the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 PM on March 10, 2026. You must request a Vote By Mail ballot to receive one. Visit this page for more information about Vote By Mail.
Election Day
March 10 | 7 AM to 7 PM
To vote in person on Election Day, you must vote in the polling place assigned to your precinct.

Canvassing Board Schedule
- March 2, 2026 – 9am Canvasing board meeting: – Logic and Accuracy test of the tabulating equipment, reporting software, and automated independent audit system. Immediately following, canvass of Vote-by-Mail Ballots
- March 9, 2026 – 10am Canvasing board meeting: Canvass of Vote-by-Mail Ballots
- March 10, 2026 – Election Day: Canvassing board will convene at 4:00PM
- March 13, 2026 – 9am Canvassing board meeting: Canvass of Provisional Ballots / Canvass Vote By Mail Ballots / Certification of Election Results;
- March 18, 2026 – 9am Post-Election Certification Automated Independent Audit
